Food in our region is very diverse and greatly influenced by its neighboring countries. It is hearty and healthy, usually based around meat and vegetables, seasonal, and sourced locally. Popular dishes include turkey, lamb, or goat Pershesh, served with a local bread known as Kulac, a meat and leek pie made with a thin pastry called Byrek, Musaka, Ajvar, and freshly caught fish served in a Mediterranean style. Fish dishes are often flavored with white vinegar. Many dishes are served with wine from one of the local vineyards.
Meeting with the local guide in Tirana and departure to Valbona. After 2 hours of drive, local lunch and a short break in the beautiful city of Prizren, Kosovo. After about 2 hours drive accommodation in hotel. Traditional dinner.

Breakfast. Hiking to Rozi peak 2500m, and depending to the group we can hike to 1400 meters or more. we will meet the Ramen family and their grandchildren, listen their own stories. Local lunch
2 to 3 hours more walking around 600 m want to go further to the pyramid 18 “2100 m” be-tween Albania and the Montenegro boarder; Dinner in the Kukaj neighborhood. A house and a very picturesque village of dry meadow.
Walking along the valley to waterfall and the opportunity to hike till 1800 where we can enjoy the view of Theth and Valbona valley. Lunch at caffe Simoni 1400 m high, where there are Valbona river springs. During our way back we stop at Ngjelaj quarter where we meet the locals. Local dinner.
We are living early the next morning to reach the Albanian Alps summit, Jezerca. We set off at an altitude of 1050 m above sea level to reach Jezerca summit, 2694 m. Hiking the “ Queen of Albanian Alps”, is going to be the trophy of your hiking adventure in Albania. At the very top of the mountain the panorama is unique. There is also a notebook found there in which hikers write down their names. Picnic lunch.
Breakfast. Visit to Xhema lake and a stop in Bujan in the museum house of Mic Sokoli, national hero. There we will see the typicall towers. Lunch in Bajram Curri. Ferry ride to Koman at 1 p.m.
Transportation with minibus and lunch in Kruje historic city. Transportation and accommodation in Tirana in Mosaic hotel and Garden. Traditional dinner at Mullixhiu.
Breakfast. Visit of Tirana city center and BUNK’ART 2. Visit the agrotourism Gjepali and cooking classes with the chef. Departure to Tirana International Airport and time to say goodbye.

The best months for experiencing this tour are April to June and September to November when the weather is warm and sunny, reaching temperatures of around 30 degrees.
